1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using EDMAN.ai ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform. These terms apply to all users, including students, lecturers, administrators, super administrators, and parents or guardians.

2. Description of Service

EDMAN.ai is an AI-powered educational platform that provides intelligent tutoring, course management, assessments, learning analytics, content support, institution administration, and mobile learning tools. The Platform uses artificial intelligence to personalise learning, generate educational support content, and provide feedback.

3. Accounts, Roles, and Access Codes

You must create an account to access most features. You are responsible for your account activity and for keeping your sign-in method secure. Some roles, such as administrator or lecturer, may require an access code issued by EDMAN.ai or an institution. You must not share access codes or use a role that you are not authorised to hold.

4. Institution Responsibilities

Institutions are responsible for the accuracy of institution setup, courses, user approvals, uploaded materials, academic records, consents, and compliance obligations that apply to their learners and staff. Institution administrators should grant access only to authorised users.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for unlawful, harmful, abusive, deceptive, or unauthorised purposes.
• Share account credentials, bypass access controls, or use another person's account.
• Upload malware, infringing content, illegal content, or content you do not have rights to use.
• Interfere with the Platform, scrape data, overload systems, or attempt to reverse engineer protected services.
• Use AI-generated content to misrepresent academic work where prohibited by your institution.
• Expose personal data or confidential academic records without authorisation.

6. Content and Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Platform are owned by Mansoft Ltd and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Course materials uploaded by lecturers or institutions remain the property of their respective owners. You grant EDMAN.ai the limited right to host, process, display, and use uploaded content only as needed to provide the Platform.

7. AI-Generated Content

The Platform uses AI to generate educational content, tutoring responses, and assessments. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content should be used as a learning aid and not as a sole source of truth. Users should verify important academic, administrative, legal, medical, financial, or safety information with qualified people or authoritative materials.

8. Privacy and Account Deletion

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, protect, retain, and delete personal information. You can request account and data deletion through our Account and Data Deletion page.

9. Availability and Changes

We may update, suspend, limit, or discontinue parts of the Platform to maintain security, improve the service, comply with law, or address operational needs. We aim to avoid unnecessary disruption, but we do not guarantee that every feature will always be available or error-free.

10. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe an account violates these terms, creates a security risk, misuses the Platform, violates institution requirements, or must be restricted by law. Institution administrators may also disable access for users within their institution.

11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mansoft Ltd disclaims implied warranties and will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of the Platform.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify users of material changes via the Platform or email.
